Hayden's preschool class presented the story of the Little Red Hen as part of their graduation night. Hayden played one of the Little Red Hen's chicks. For only being at day care one day a week, he did pretty well with learning the songs. I would have to say we were pleasantly surprised at how great the evening was. The kids did a phenomenal job!!
Some of these kids have grown up with Hayden. Hayden was one of the first infants enrolled at Little Treasures when it open in June 2005. The has been quite a bit of turnover with staff and friends coming and going, but I really think he's headed to kindergarten next year with a solid foundation of basic knowledge (numbers, colors, letters) and he's going there with a set of kids he's spent many years with already.
After their play, the kids changed into their caps and gowns (they got to pick the color they wanted) and were announced by name to come and receive their diploma while Pomp and Circumstance played. Hayden was in his glory!!
