Tanner is once again playing in the minor league. They try to rotate kids around a bit, but they're also trying to allow kids to find "their" spot on the field and on the team. Tanner is mostly rotated between catcher, pitcher, and shortstop. Seems to me I know two other guys who played almost that same rotation (David and Blair). He's enjoying himself thoroughly and continuing to do well and loving the game. We're working this year though to teach him humility. When God has blessed someone athletically like He has Tanner, it's a little hard for one ten-year-old ego to hold in. Tanner's slowly learning to understand what we mean about being thankful for gifts and not bragging or feeling like he's better than others. He's a work-in-progress.
Tanner batting from an outfield view. He insisted I post this picture because the other brothers had pictures of them batting and he couldn't not have one too!

It's the wind up...
Tanner's also once again playing on a tournament team. All four of his tournament team coaches also coach a regular little league team. Two of his tournament teammates are on his little league team and the rest are scattered amongst the other three teams of the tourney coaches. It makes it hard to not cheer for the opposing team when I'm used to cheering that player on during tournament games!
Regular little league keeps us busy all week long and the tourney team keeps us busy on the weekends. It gets a little crazy sometimes keeping track of it all. I actually bought a separate calendar just to keep track of baseball!!
