Christmas morning came WAY to early at our house this year. The boys woke up at 6am and thought it was the perfect time to begin opening gifts. Justin and I were not in agreement, but we were horribly outnumbered : )
Good thing Santa had come, set up, and gone by 9pm or so.
Santa moved our tree into the living room so that there would be more room for opening gifts. Here's a few pictures of him starting to set up the loot.

Christmas 2010 was an educational themed year, with a game second theme. JJ, Hayden, and Lucas each received learning system "computers" as one of their gifts. Tanner didn't because he uses our laptop and has his own email address, etc. Between all the boys, I think Santa brought four or five new board games which they were very excited about. They love to spend evenings around the table playing games as a family. Justin and I are soaking up this "I want to spend time as a family" excitement as we know it won't last long the older they get.
Tanner and JJ also received remote control helicopters, which they LOVE. They're fascinated by how it all works and enjoy learning the feel of the controls as they ease their copter into the air and guide it around the house.
Hayden received the zippity dance mat, which is a learning game where you dance/play along with Disney cartoon characters. He and Lucas loved it! We returned it because every time they chose the Handy Manny game, the entire system froze. We wanted to just exchange it for another one, but they were out so we bought a Kid Art Studio which also runs through the tv. The boys enjoy this, but I almost wish we had kept the dance mat and just not played the Handy Manny game. Hayden's birthday is coming up, so we might have to look at another store.
Lucas received many things he liked. However, his "sack" was what he loved. He didn't put his stocking down from the time he dumped it out, screamed in excitement when he saw the candy and toys inside, and then loaded it back up (less one ring pop). He kept coming up to me saying, "Santa brought me my sack and I love my treats".
We had breakfast with Justin's parents and then headed to Cochranton for the day. As usual, the day was filled with family, joking, laughter, and tons of food. In the evening, Santa Grandma Cathy unloaded her sleigh and the kids were loaded up with more loot.
We made it home Christmas evening around 9:00pm. The kids were ecstatic about the day, but definitely tuckered out. We are definitely blessed.
