I thought I was being smart in taking Lucas Christmas shopping with me the other day. I figured he was too little to understand what he saw going in the cart and therefore wouldn't remember anything to tell his brothers when we got home. Boy was I wrong!
When we got home, a commercial came on for something that Hayden wants...that I had gotten that day. Hayden said, "Oh I really want that Mommy!" Lucas' reply to that was, "It's in Mommy's car."
I was shocked!! "What? It's not in my car!" Lucas would not let his mind be changed. He yelled, "Yes Mommy! It's in your car!"
That's the last time I take any kids with me when presents need to be bought.
