My parents treated Justin and I, as well as the boys and my nephews to a night at the circus on July 23. The circus was sponsored by the Cochranton girls softball team. Even though it was pouring rain outside, under the big top we were dry and having a blast.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love elephants! So, of course, most of the pictures from our circus experience are of elephants.
There were two clowns of course who kept us laughing while the ring was changed for each different act. Hayden squealed with laughter every time they hit each other over the head with a foam shovel, or tripped over something, etc!
The five tigers were great to watch. The tigers performed tricks together, but then each had their own act as well. One tiger jumped over a small fence on only his hind legs and another did the moon walk on his hind legs.
Hayden's favorite part of the whole night was the motorcycle on the high wire! I don't think he blinked the entire time and he was making motorcycle engine noises right along with it.
There was also juggling, dogs doing tricks, and trapeze artists! We had a great time and the kids are already asking when the circus is coming back to town.
