Wise/Ritchey Family Reunion 2013

 The Wise/Ritchey family reunion this year was held at the pond as usual. It had been a rainy week, but Saturday turned out to be beautiful! A slight breeze but the sun was shining all day.

It was a great day catching up with everyone.  Laura had the idea of taking a picture of the Wise siblings.

We took one nice picture (even Jerry is smiling a bit) and one silly picture! It think they both turned out well.

My Aunt BA would have rounded out the bunch. She's the guardian angel of us all.

The younger kids had a blast playing king of the house.
It's one of the boys old play houses from when they were younger
that they have discovered floats. It's made for hours of fun!

Kaylynn and Nancy originally filled up this pool, but when Katie dumped
some water on their heads, Nancy left a spot open which Lucas quickly claimed.
Hayden jumped in to add a little fun to the picture.

King of the dock takes a small break to get in a nice group picture.
Boys versus girls was the plan and just by sheer numbers, you
can tell which group won :)

 
Hayden was the tour guide.  He enjoyed riding in the pedal boat with whoever would join him.
He and Sara took a nice, leisurely ride, while he took Ian through Papa Bud's redneck water
fountain (aka, old pool pump rigged up like a water fountain).

If there is one thing I've learned from being a member of the Wise clan, it's this: God first and family second. A family is there for you and supports you and loves you. And never take for granted the family that you're blessed with. It also doesn't hurt that we have a lot of fun when we get together :)
