Friday night, I attended a dinner to celebrate the 85th Anniversary of Gamma Sigma Phi.
It was nice to get together with alum, as well as current actives!
Saturday morning, the boys and I went to watch Thomas Hummel play soccer with the Grove City High School team. They kicked Sharpsville's butt! The boys thought it was cool to watch Thomas play...he is one of their heros you know!
For years, Gamma Sigma Phi has staked out the bridge by the post office as our parade watching location. This year we took a picture of all of us with our kids:
Kaelin, Christopher, and Ben shared a blanket with the boys as they kept alert for candy!
We spotted a familiar face walking by in the parade...Aunt Brenda...walking with some of her friends from her graduating class.
After the parade, we headed up to the Gee to eat lunch. Then we headed to the quad to catch up with friends in the Greek Village. Thankfully, the Gamma Sig tent and the Nu Lamb tent were side by side so we were able to visit with everyone in one place.
Poor Kaelin was taken under JJ's "supervision" as we walked to the quad.
