They wanted to look in every nook and cranny, in the gullies, up on the hills. None of them cared that it was cold and overcast...
They were running on a battlefield! A REAL battlefield.
I don't think they soaked up much of the educational aspects, but they truly enjoyed being a part of history as they ran and raced and "recreated" the battles.
