Today was the first day in a long time where the boys could spend a while outside and still be able to breath. They had a blast! Justin got out the inflatable "jumpy jumpy" as they call it and the boys ran, played, rode bikes, etc. They had a blast in general. Lucas was so excited to be outside that he even fell asleep on the swing and fell off! Justin kept asking him, "Are you ready to go lay down" and his reply was always "no". That is until he fell asleep and fell off the swing. When asked again if he was ready to go lay down, he answered, "yes please"!
The boys love having the park practically in our backyard, so tonight we took our first family walk to the park of the year. Here's a picture of the boys sitting on a drainage cover on our walk to the park.
We went and walked and played a little football and then the boys ran the bases on the baseball field. They see it as great fun and we see it as wearing them out for bedtime!!! ha-ha!! I'm sure we have more snow in our future before the warm weather comes to stay, but this was a nice break for us and the boys!
