My mom marked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this week as "Boy Time". Tanner, JJ, and Hayden went to spend the night along with my nephews Wesley and Cameron. My cousin Bryce joined them during the day for loads of fun. Hayden was especially excited that "Brycey" was coming to play with him. Emily joined my mom as reinforcement for keeping them all in line and out of trouble. Lucas went to play on Monday while Justin hunted with my dad (nope, no one got anything - all the deer are still safe).
Tuesday, my mom and Emily took all six boys to the Meadville Rec Complex to swim. However, apparently, the pool was cold and the boys enjoyed playing in the warm showers instead!!! In the afternoon, they played outside in their various forts and played ball with my dad.
Today is the last day of "Boy Time" and our children will be returned to us tonight when we join the Wise side of my family at Hoss's in Meadville for dinner. I am blessed to have not only close family, but many family traditions. Getting together for dinner on New Year's Eve is just one of many.
