We used to spend Christmas eve with Justin's parents and wake up with them, have breakfast, open their presents to the kids and then head home to open santa's presents. However as the kids have gotten older, it's important to them to wake up in our house. So we've had to pick other times to see Justin's parents. This year we headed there for Christmas day evening to have dinner and then spend the night for Justin, his dad, and Tanner to go hunting the next morning. It was a great night!
Justin's mom always decorates beautifully! The boys love to see her tree and the train they have beneath it. The love the meticulously wrapped gifts even more!
One gift Tanner received was a framed picture of him with his first deer.
It's prominantly displayed in his bedroom!
While my other three are usually not happy when they open gifts of clothes, Lucas loves them. And he loved his new footie jammies very much! He wore them to bed that night.
Hayden got a boxing bag...
And he loved it when Justin's dad put it together to try.
We didn't have sand to put in the base, so Chuck risked a black eye to hold it in place!
Come time for bed the boys were pooped. The day started early and was go, go, go until the very end. They definitely slept well.
