A typical McCurdy holiday tradition

No McCurdy family gathering is complete without some form of target practice. Christmas day was no different.

This is the hillside behind my parents house - complete with targets:

old, unused kitchen tiles, mountain dew bottles, milk jugs, orange juice containers, etc.

It all began when David, Blair, Justin, and I gave my dad our gift from the four of us:

the gun he was looking to buy. We beat him to it.

To say he was surprised just doesn't give it enough emphasis.

Blair had to give the new "toy a try too.

Another excuse used was that Bryce needed to learn how to use a muzzleloader. Justin and Blair volunteered to give him some pointers.

Tanner then needed to get some shots in as well.

And then we had one little spectator!
