Christmas day marked a milestone in Lucas' life. He was allowed to shot a gun for the first time ever and was so eager to get started.
Justin took plenty of time to explain things to him: how the gun worked, how he was never allowed to touch a gun by himself until he was old, and Lucas listened intently.
Once Justin put the gun in Lucas' hands, that little guy was so focused!
Now I know that a double finger trigger pull will never work forever, but it served it's purposes well that day. Lucas looked down the barrel lining up each shot and did amazing.

And he did well! He actually hit a few of the things that were scattered on the hillside as targets - tiles and a box. And the excitement on his face was just priceless!
