My father-in-law found used catcher's equipment that is the perfect size for my vertically challenged children. Tanner is a great catcher, but is often held back by the leg guards being too long and not sitting right. Justin's dad got two chest guards, a mask, a heart guard, a set of leg guards, and a catcher's mitt.
Now, Tanner's in football mode, so while he was definitely exciteded about the new stuff, it was JJ and Hayden who were really excited. JJ hasn't really done much catching, but Hayden spent quite a bit of time behind the plate for his team this year. They both wanted to try on the equipment and model it for Justin the other night.
