A new day dawned this morning with JJ feeling a bit better. The swelling has resided, the fever is gone, and now he's basically left with some "achy" feelings in his wrist and knee. He says his fingers are feeling much better and his ankles "don't hurt much anymore". He's still limping a bit and he says his knee doesn't feel all better yet, but he says he feels much better than yesterday.
We are still awaiting the test results as we'd like to know what caused this, will it happen again, can we prevent a recurrence of this pain, etc. The results are due tomorrow, but we are thankful that they are not as critically needed as they were yesterday when JJ's pain seemed unbearable.
We are thankful. We are blessed. We are humbled in the face of answered prayers. Thank you to friends and family who poured out your love in calls, texts, but most importantly in prayer. Thank you for partnering with us as we laid JJ upon the throne and asked for God's healing hand. Our God is great and He remains faithful to those who put their trust in Him.
