McCurdy Christmas Party

Today was the McCurdy family Christmas party. Hosted by Paula and the girls, it was quite the afternoon. Food included corn dogs, pizza rolls, chicken nuggets, tator tots, and macaroni & cheese. I thought it was a fantastic idea! We also had lots of cold veggies, cheese & crackers, and Christmas cookies.

The boys played outside for a while and then came in just in time to see the Steelers throw another game away! However, the frowns were corrected when the "gag" gift exchange began.

This year the choosing from the pile of gifts went from oldest to youngest. Many of the gifts were not truly gag gifts, but the ones that were seemed to follow a similar theme...underwear!

Jeanne received 'edible' underwear, aka underwear covered with gummy lifesavers!

It's hard to say which underwear gift Blair was laughing at,

but there were plenty of laughs this afternoon.

Lindsey and Nate were proud models of the gag packages they picked!

All four unlucky package pickers! Better luck next year!
