Family Introduction

Our four boys...hmm...they are our life. We don't do much without them.

Tanner is the oldest. He is eight years old this year and just started third grade. I'm not sure he's going to like school this year as much as he did last year, bu we'll continue to encourage him nonetheless. Sports seem to be his passion. If it includes a ball, he's interested. Add to that fishing and riding his bike and there he is in a nutshell.

Justin Jr (JJ) is seven this year and just started second grade. He lives a lot in Tanner's shadow and we go to great efforts to try to prevent this. He's our dreamer. He has an imagination greater than any child I've ever come in contact with. He's compassionate and a giver. He loves babies and animals...although the only pets he's ever had are cage bound (fish and small lizards). And he's stubborn (like his mother)...when this boy throws a fit, he's a force to be reckoned with. We love him...and all of his quirks.

Hayden is three and a half. He's celebrating his move into the "big room" at daycare. He only attends a day and a half each week, but this is progress for him. He's our little man...small in stature and age, but large as life! He loves to imitate and act things out and play ball...and golf! I'd say he's our most well-rounded. One day he's the Jonas Brothers, singing in perfect rhythm and tune a song of theirs. The next day he's Hayden Woods (his version of Tiger Woods). The next day he's the High School Musical cast. What's a little golf without a cast of backup singers behind you?

Lucas is one and a half. He's our Mister Potato Head, not so much for body parts as facial expressions. Someday he's going to break hearts with his smile. He's smart for his age and independent. One minute he'll be speaking to you and you can truly understand each word. The next minute he's back to baby mumbling. It's as if he does it because he has things to say that he doesn't want you to know. He just moved into a big boy bed due to him learning to climb out of his crib. We've had no problems. Except maybe the yelling at 6:30 a.m...."Mommy, daddy, c'mere". Oh well...progress never comes without a price.
