Tanner on age limitations for waitresses
We're sitting at Hoss's last night and Tanner says, "It's about time they got some younger waitresses around here." I laughed and asked him why. He said that when older waitresses serve you, they're boring, don't talk to you and just say grumpily, "Here's your seat." (note that during this conversation he used a deep, grouchy tone as the voice of the older waitress). Younger waitresses, he says, talk to you and ask you how you're doing. Then he says, older waitresses bring your food and grumpily says, "Here's a steak. Here's chicken nuggets." He said younger waitresses (who he used a higher pitched, happy tone for) say, "Hey, who got the steak, with yummy potato? Oh and here's some fun chicken and fries - who's eating that?" The other boys and I were laughing hysterically by the time he got done with this little monologue of his on the pros and cons of younger versus older waitresses!
