Every year, GCC hosts a picnic at Waldameer for all faculty and employees. It's always on a Friday - we only work until noon, but get paid for the whole day.
The boys love it! We spent most of our day in the waterpark, which is a difficult place to carry a camera around. Thus, no wet, wild, waterslide pictures. JJ and Tanner behaved very responsibly for me (Justin didn't come until about 5 and the boys and I got there at 2:30) and stayed together on the waterslides while I watched the little boys in the kiddy area. I could watch the stairs to the slides and the slide exit pool from where I was in the kiddy area and they had to come see me after each slide. They did great!
After getting dry for the picnic dinner at 5:30 and then eating, we headed back out to the rides. There are not many pictures of Tanner because he rode the Ravine Flyer 3 over and over again while JJ, Hayden, and Lucas rode the rides beside the entrance/exit to the rollercoaster. Tanner, again, thought himself very responsible to be able to go ride the rollercoaster by himself. Man, when did he get so big?
The motorcycles and cars are always a hit. There was a kid who kept honking the annoying squeaky horn and Lucas kept telling him to "stop making that noise".
The hand pedal trains are always a good time too.
And then there was the SS Wally...
I think Lucas rode this tugboat about 15+ times. Not only did it go back and forth, but it spun in circles too. It made me sick just watching it, but the boys loved it!
Tanner rode the kiddy roller coaster between Ravine Flyer 3 trips...
Here he is sitting proud, waiting for the ride to start.
The second picture - the blur 1st filled seat on the left is Hayden.
Hayden, JJ, and Lucas loved the teacups too!
However, Lucas didn't like riding the teacups with JJ. JJ just kept making it spin faster the entire ride and he didn't stop until the ride ended. He was more than ready to get off.
A family pic at the end of a long, tiring, but very fun day!
Apparently, the clown is taking my spot in the picture?!!
