Today Lucas is a snotty, fever, pukey mess. He is one very sad, pitiful, not feeling good little boy. I asked him if he wanted to take a warm, bubble tubby and he said yes. He has this rubber finger puppet penguin that he won at the winter carnival. He took his "ducky" in the tub with him. He and ducky swam for a while, and splashed, and played. Then I think the comfort of the warm water made my little not feeling good boy very comfortable and relaxed. He could also breathe through his nose again. Next thing we knew, Lucas was peacefully sleeping...in the tubby. We hated to wake him because he was so peaceful, but it had to be done.
