Tanner's birthday (April 21) fell on a Wednesday this year, which was good because I go into work late on Wednesdays. I planned to surprise him with breakfast in bed (pancakes and eggs); however, Justin gave me an out when he came home from the grocery store with Pillsbury cinnamon rolls (the in a can kind that you simply open and bake). It wasn't the fanciest breakfast, but Tanner loved it!! Nine candles in eight cinnamon rolls and all the attention on him. It was a great start to many days of celebrations.

Grandma Debbie, Nikki, and the girls came down on Friday, April 24 to spend the afternoon. Chuck and I joined everyone at Hoss's later that night and we enjoyed a great birthday cake too. It was nice to spend the evening together and the kids had a blast playing.
On Sunday, April 26, Justin got the afternoon off and we headed to my parent's house to celebrate with my family. David and his family were in Florida and Blair was housesitting for them so they were missing from the action, but we enjoyed the day. We had cake and ice cream and just enjoyed the conversation with each other.
Thank you to all the family who helped to celebrate this great kid's special day(s)!! We are very proud of the young man he is growing up to be and can't wait to see what the next year holds for him.
