This weekend's fun included a bit of back-to-school cleaning that didn't get done due to us going away for Labor Day weekend. One of the jobs H & L were tasked with was scrubbing the walls of the hallway that leads to the boys' bedrooms. As they were working, I could see them whispering. Hayden then said, "Mom, we've decided that we'd rather stay home tomorrow and keep scrubbing these walls instead of going to school. Deal?" We're only four days in and they're scheming on how to get out of going to school. It's going to be a LONG year if this continues.
