The amazing coke machine pictured here has always been a grandchild favorite at Grandma Wise's house. My grandma had actual glass coke bottles with little plastic soda ups that we'd fill up with anything from water to soda to ice tea. Capping the bottle with the special lid/handle/dispenser before setting the bottle into the "machine" made for some great afternoon drink breaks. Haley and Bryce seem to have commandeered the machine (their names are on the tape on the little cups) in the years since David, Blair, and I were little but it looks like Lucas and Hayden are the newest owners. The fascination of the machine seems timeless. In a time when technology is all the rage, a simple plastic soda dispenser still draws them in.
