Lucas made me a necklace at school for Mother's Day but couldn't wait until Sunday to give it to me so he changed his card to say 'Happy early mother's day' and gave it to me on Friday. It's a washer that he decorated with glitter and then strung on a pretty ribbon. It's very cute and he and I have both gotten compliments on it. One of his old AWANA teachers at church asked him if he could make her one and he just kind of looked at her funny and then turned to me and said, "Can we go to Wal-Mart?" as he then started listing the things he'd need to buy. I love this kid and his sweet heart!
