Santa

For the first time ever, Lucas asked me about Santa this year and if he was real.  He asked so I told him the truth.  I'm finding it very humorous.  Tonight I asked if he'd like to help wrap the gifts for the brothers, his dad, and other family members and he was very excited to join me behind locked doors.  He helped cut the paper, learned to wrap, place the tape, and wrote names on packages.  As the pile grew, he began carrying them out to put under the tree.  I called him back to help and told him he was a very good elf.  His response:  "Me?  An elf?  I am santa actually and you are the elf.  I am the one delivering the presents to the tree!!"
