Quitting

Lucas - "I quitted something today"
 

Me - "You quit something? What?"
 

L - "Reading."
 

M - "How do you quit reading?"
 

L - "I'm not bringing home anymore books".
 

Justin - "What he means is that he's so far ahead of the other children in the kindergarten book reading program at the Y that he's taking a little break."
 

He's apparently only 6 books away from having read everything they had planned for the entire reading program for the year. I guess he's definitely due a little break then and start up again in maybe January. He's still got his regular kindergarten classroom reading work to do so it won't hurt him. Love that he was so excited about having quit something though. Don't know if that's a wise trend to start though.
