Justin took the boys, along with Wesley and Cameron, to McConnell's Mills for an afternoon in April. Yes, I'm about 3 months late in blogging, but that's what happens after a spleen ruptures, baseball season happens, and then a heat wave hits ; ) Better now than never.
You would think these boys like each other!
Kind of like survivor island:
There were five....then four....
Then only two.
But they were all eventually found again!
These boys and nature - a perfect fit!
Hiking up the mountain...
climbing the rocky edges...
and then heading into the caves in the rock.
And Justin did very well in remembering to pack the boys a picnic lunch too.
Rest/lunch time didn't last long before they were back at it.
Justin let them all head into the caves and he tried to keep tabs on where they were from above.
Sometimes successful and sometimes not.
Definitely a "not" moment when Wesley comes out of the cave and yells, "Look!"
And there was Tanner trying to wiggle out of the cave through a small crevice.
The boys had a blast and I think Justin enjoyed himself greatly just watching them and laughing at their antics!
