Every August, County Market sponsors an antique car show in the parking lot in front of USIS. Along with the car show, they put off fireworks in the park - conveniently located three doors down. We can sit on our back porch and watch the show. It's nice because the kids have varying degrees of like/dislike toward the firework booms and bangs and therefore being at home where they can watch through a window with less noise is great.
JJ's face is classic here - a huge firework had just gone off! It was a little startling as the show had begun with some rather tame fireworks. Notice Hayden has his ears covered. He kept asking me where the ear muffs (those headphone style "ear plugs" that you wear while target shooting - Justin and I couldn't come up with what they're really called!)
He doesn't hate them though...

Two great things rolled into one - cars and fireworks! For a family full of boys, there is nothing better than a muscle cars and loud noises.
