On the morning of January 21, 2012 we packed up for a weekend at Kalahari Resort and Indoor Waterpark in Sandusky, Ohio courtesy of my mom and her annual weekend away treat for us all - the McCurdy/Wise/Ward/McCreadie clan: Mom, dad, Blair, David, Wesley, Cameron, Gma & Gpa Wise, Joy & Brett, Em, Bryce, Paige, Rob, Brad & Amy, Kyle, Haley, MacKenzie, Ryan, Anna, Taylor, Tanner, JJ, Hayden, Lucas, Justin, and I. Wow! What a crew for sure : )
This is what we left as we headed out that morning. It felt weird packing swimsuits!
The boys settled in for what looked like a long ride. We didn't tell them it was only about 2 hours. They brought enough DVDs for a car ride across the country.
And before they knew it, we were there!
As we headed to the check-in area, we found my grandpa happily guarding my grandma's purse. The boys thought it was funny that grandpa had a purse : )
David and Cameron headed into the waterpark before us, so they were already in line for another go when we got inside.
Em was nice enough to take Lucas for his first try at the wave pool.
He really liked it!
Then we headed with Hayden into the kiddy pool area.
We didn't last long there since they were a little rough for the toddlers trying to play.
The hoops pool became the first target for the boys and their dads.
It wasn't long before a big game was going between the 6 boys,
Bryce, Justin, my dad, and two brothers.
I honestly think they would have stayed there all day!
